Six practical checks
Selecting the right joinery partner for a Dubai development is a technical decision, not a stylistic one. Developers who repeat successful residential rollouts typically evaluate partners on production capacity, prototyping capability, technical drawing support, delivery coordination, installation resources and material sourcing.
Production capacity
Ask for a walk-through of the workshop and machinery. Every serious partner runs their own CNC line and finishing capability.
Prototyping
A single approved prototype is worth ten renders. Insist on a physical prototype for the show apartment before series production begins.
Technical drawings
Shop drawings should read like the architect's package — dimensions, section details, finish schedules and mounting details.
Delivery and installation
Rollout is where projects fail. Look for a partner who plans delivery in floors or batches and coordinates installation with the main contractor.
Material sourcing
Timber, stone, brass and hardware sourcing should be transparent. Ask where each material comes from.
Track record
Reference sites and completed projects — visit at least one before signing.
